panchayat and allegations of sale of beef at a particular shop in Kaima
Bandhchak area of Dharmashala Police Station. The agitated people vandalised a

district every day. Today, 76 cattle were seized near Ranigad Gumachak while
smuggling cattle to Andhra through Nabarangpur and Borigumma.
Jagatsinghpur, 3/6 (IMS): Police have rescued a cow
from Tarikunda after catching a cattle vehicle. In this incident, the police
have registered a case against the driver of the cattle, Nityanand Pradhan. The
rescued cow has been taken to a cowshed.
Chittara, 3/6 (EMIS): Two people arrested by Police
on charges of selling beef and took them into custody. The Bajrangi sena
workers. The Morada police station has arrested them and produced them in
court.
Parlakhemundi, 3|6 (EMIS): A group of youths from
Lingipur village of Gosani block stopped a vehicle (AP39 TM4200) carrying cows.
After they informed the Gurandi police station about the cow smuggling, police
station officer Om Narayan Patra arrived at the scene.
Jaleswar, 4/6 (IMS): Pashimbad, under Jaleswar Thana
Nampo Fandi, has now become a hub for the cow mafia. Every day, cattle are
collected from different places and brought to Pashimbad. Later, they are
smuggled elsewhere from here.
Sambalpur, 4/6 (EMIS): The Dhanupali police have
launched a night raid on the beef trade & Cow procession. The police have
launched a massive raid in the Motijharan area. In which they have interrogated
some traders involved in cow slaughter and beef trade.
Plan for smuggling to West Bengal! 300 cattle rescued
by Police
Baisinga, 4/6 (EMIS): After the change of government,
the Mayurbhanj district police have achieved great success in preventing cow
smuggling. On Wednesday morning, the police conducted a raid in
Balasore-Mayurbhanj districts.
The Commissionerate Police has arrested two members
of a gang involved in stealing vehicles and other illegal activities including
cow smuggling. The vehicle theft racket was busted with the joint efforts of
Bhubaneswar Special Police Station and police station staff. The arrested
accused have been identified as Armaan Saha (25) and Iftikar Alam of Pipili
area of Puri district.

Panikoili, 5/6 (IMIS): A pickup van carrying cows has
been seized from Mirzapur square, Golaipur Panchayat under Panikoili police
station. According to information, the pickup van OR-05AJ-2188, carrying fish, usually
plies on Mirzapur road every day and was suspected as its moving daily in the
route.
Borigumma, 5/6 (IMIS): Borigumma Block A plan was
underway to slaughter cows for sale near the Bharatmala Project Overbridge near
Baghbhadra under the Borigumma block. On receiving the news, Hanuman Sena of
Benasur village under the Bishinghpur police station rushed to the spot and
caught two people. The others fled the scene.

attacked by some minority people at Kasati village of Kubera Panchayat under
Tihidi police station area. Tension arose after this attack. Police force was
deployed to maintain law and order. Police force is still deployed. Till today,
police have arrested 6 accused in this incident.
Kasarda, 5/6 (NPR): On getting the news of cattle
being smuggled through the Niyali Phulankhara road, the Niyali police station
IIC Vijay Kumar Mallick, lead a team of police officers and rescued four cows
and seized a vehicle after they were caught on a road in Nuagaon. A case has
been registered against Sheikh Mahtab (35) and Sheikh Hasif (19) of Basti at
Niali police station on charges of cattle smuggling and both have been produced

Sambalpur, 8/6 (IMIS): Cow slaughter has been
reported today again in the Motijharan area of the city. The police received
information about such cow slaughter at three specific places. A large police
team led by Additional SP Ajay Mishra, SDPO Tophan Bagh, Dhanupali Police
Station Officer Aditya Mahakud raided the relevant areas of Motijharan. The
cattle slaughterhouse was extensively searched. However, the police said that
no success was found in this regard.

national highway passing through Borigumma is increasing day by day. Every day,
hundreds of cattle are being trafficked from Nabarangpur district to Borigumma

been seized from Taratua village of Khordha Town Police Station. The chopped
meat has been seized by Khordha Town Police Station. The police are questioning
a person in connection with the incident, said Town Police Station Officer
Sanjay Nayak.

9/6 (EMIS): Tension has been raised over the discovery of some severed cow
heads in a field near Sagar Bhuyan Park under Dhamnagar NAC.
According
to reports, people informed the police after seeing the severed head of a cow
lying in a field on Monday morning. After the news spread, a large crowd
gathered there. The police immediately reached the spot and brought the
situation under control. The severed heads of the cows were recovered.

broke into Tulkadab village of Kesipur Panchayat in Nilagiri block and stole
cattle from the cowshed and were taking them away. At this time, some villagers

receiving the information, the Barhampur police reached and arrested Harish
Chandra Vishal (40), Niranjan Marai (37), Raghunath Nayak (47), Sukant Khandei

accused. On the other hand, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed

Bhadrak town after the body of Santosh Parida (46) of Kashti village, Kubera
panchayat, Thidi block, who was killed in an attack by cattle mafia, reached
here this afternoon. Thousands of people have blocked National Highway No. 16
in front of Nehru Stadium with the body, demanding Rs 50 lakh as compensation
to the family of the deceased and immediate arrest of the other accused.
Dhenkanal, 12/6 (AP): A vehicle carrying cattle was
caught near Mahishapat square in Dhenkanal in the early hours of Thursday
morning. Five cows were recovered from the vehicle. One accused was arrested
while the other is absconding.
Police seized a pickup van (No. OD 22-6189) is
carrying a cattle carrying vehicle from Nimapada area on Thursday at Harishpur
square. Police rescued four cows and a bull from the vehicle and left them at
the Puri cowshed. When the police raided, the driver and the trader fled the
scene. Police have registered a case No. 170/25 and are investigating the
incident. Strict action will be taken against the cow smugglers.
Paikasahi, 18/6 (EMIS): There have been allegations
of illegal cattle trafficking from the Thakurgarh police station area. There
has been public dissatisfaction as no action has been taken by the police in
this regard. The villagers have informed the Angul District Collector through a
demand letter to stop the illegal cattle trafficking. The residents of the area
have submitted their demand letter.
Badabil, 18/6 (EMIS): Today on charges of cattle
smuggling Badabil police have arrested a person. The accused is SK Sartaz of
Kusumi village, Suleipat police station, Mayurbhanj district. 2 Boleros have
been seized from Sartaz. Police have registered a case (96/25).
Youth dead incident in Cow Mafia's attacks, another
accused arrested from Howra
Bhadrak/Tihidi, 18/6 (EMIS): Another accused has been
arrested in the murder of Santosh Parida (46) of Kashti village under Tihidi
police station in an attack by cattle mafia. The arrested accused has been
identified as Saifur Rahman. A special police team formed under the direction
of Bhadrak SP Manoj Rout arrested him today from Howrah, West Bengal. After the
arrest, he was taken to Bhadrak.
Puri/Satyabhasti, (Emis): Satyabadi police station
has been able to catch an auto driver who was smuggling two cows grazing in the
river from Brahmagiri Road near Dhankera High School. In this regard, Satyabadi
police station has registered a complaint on its own and registered a case
under number 197/25.
Tihidi, 22/6 (IMIS): Tributes were paid to Santosh
Parida, a cowherd of Kashti village under Kubera Panchayat of Tihidi Block, on
the occasion of his Ekadasaha. The meeting organized under the leadership of

Police Station under Dadaraghati Fandi Police raided the Jharanbahal village
forest under the jurisdiction of the district on Saturday night and seized a
Bolero (OR-09-N-5819) and two motorcycles loaded with cattle. In this forest,
some cattle mafias were trying to collect cattle from different areas and
smuggle them to West Bengal via Keonjhar.

station seized a truck carrying illegal cattle heading towards West Bengal late
on Wednesday night. More than 50 cattle in the vehicle have been recovered.

Bolero pickup van without a registration number. At 4 am today, at Shasan square
under Tigiria police station, seven cattle were being smuggled in a Bolero

19/5 (IMS): Cow vigilantes today seized two trucks loaded with illegal cattle
near Judiaghati on National Highway No. 49 passing through Keonjhar and handed

at Dharmashala Thana Kaima School premises, the local villagers protested. A
youth was caught by the people and handed over to the police. Four of them fled

(IMS): Balasore Sadar police station has achieved great success in stopping
illegal cow smuggling. 102 cows have been rescued and 3 accused have been
arrested. SP Raj Prasad said this in a press conference held at Sadar police

During a cow smuggling act in Manapada village of Gopa police station, Birtung
panchayat, villagers seized more than 50 cows. Among those who involved in the
cow smuggling one was captured by the villagers, while three of the four

22/5: The Kishorenagar police station on Thursday arrested a man on charges of
cow theft and produced him in court. The accused has been identified as
Biswajit Bishoi of Samantarapur village. Police sources said that Nirupama
Mallick of Bastapada village had gone to the field to graze her cow, while
Biswajit stole the cow and sold it to Shadab Aktar of Balishukri village. After
Nirupama filed a written complaint in this regard, the police investigated and
arrested the accused.
The Vishwa Hindu
Parishad and Bajrang Dal have lodged a complaint at the police station
regarding the massive cattle smuggling from Neulpur village under Dharmashala
police station to Kolkata. According to information, Sheikh Kala and his son
Sheikh Sahil of Kantabonia village of Neulpur panchayat have been transporting
cows, bulls and bullocks from various villages of Dharmashala block for a long
time with the help of some local youths near Neulpur Idgaha area.

कर्मदा: पश्चिम बंगाल में अवैध रूप से ले जाए जा रहे 2 मवेशियों को बचाया गया और दो संबंधित व्यापारियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। 28 दिसंबर दो मवेशियों व्यापारी; कर्मदा का शेख साहिद और शेख मेहेत पश्चिम बंगाल में दो मवेशियों को अवैध रूप से ले जा रहे थे। इसी बीच ग्रामीणों ने कामरदा पंचायत कुंजवाणी स्कूल के पास रोक लिया और इसकी सूचना कामरदा पुलिस को दी. पुलिस ने पहुंचकर मवेशियों को मुक्त कराया और दो व्यापारियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। हालाँकि, गिरफ्तार व्यापारियों पर बाद में मुकदमा चलाया गया। हालांकि, कामरदा के रास्ते ओडिशा से पश्चिम बंगाल तक अवैध गोचालाण लगभग हर दिन हो रहा है। इसकी शिकायत ग्रामीण कर रहे हैं। कोई फल नहीं बनता. जिसे लेकर आक्रोश है.

कटक: बिडानासी थाना पुलिस ने गाय चोरी के मामले में दो युवकों को गिरफ्तार किया है. वे खटबीन साहिर अब्दुल कादिर (30) और बखराबाद इलाके के जन्मेजय बेहरा (30) हैं। शुक्रवार, 27 दिसंबर को दो लोगों पर मुकदमा चलाया गया। जानकारी के अनुसार पिछले माह देकलसाही डोबासाही के तुनी सेठी में एक गाय अचानक भाग गयी. रिंगबांध में एक व्यक्ति के सीसीटीवी फुटेज में दो लोग उक्त गाय को चोरी करते दिखे। बाद में 15 नवंबर को पुलिस ने थाने में झूठ बोलने का मामला दर्ज कर लिया. शुक्रवार को पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों की पहचान कर उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया

अताबीरा: राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 53, घुडुकटिकरा, बुर्ला थाना पर एक गाय चालित ट्रक से 23 मवेशियों को पश्चिम बंगाल ले जाया गया। इनमें से एक की मौत की खबर है. घटना के अनुसार, गुरुवार 26 दिसंबर की रात 10:30 बजे गोड़भागा बजरंग टीम (डब्ल्यूबी 33सी 3096) के सदस्यों ने गोड़भागा तुरुम रोड, दुलमपुर स्ट्रीट पर एक ट्रक में मवेशियों को ले जाते हुए देखा. इसके बाद उन्होंने ट्रक का पीछा किया और उसे बुर्ला पुलिस स्टेशन के घुडुकटिकरा में रोका। ट्रक चालक और दो अन्य लोगों को घटनास्थल पर फेरार हो गया। सूचना मिलने पर गोशाळा फांड़ी पुलिस और गोड़भागा बजरंग टीम के सदस्यों ने ट्रक से 22 जीवित मवेशी और एक मृत मवेशी को बचाया। इस संबंध में पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर ट्रक को हिरासत में ले लिया है और घटना की जांच कर रही है. बचाए गए सभी मवेशियों को श्रीकृष्ण गोशाला में सुरक्षित रखा गया है।
कटक, 25.12 : गो-माफिआ शहर में सक्रिय हो गया है। वे शहर में बेखौफ होकर
वारदातों को अंजाम दे रहे हैं। कमिश्नरेट पुलिस का रात्रि पहरा उन्हें नहीं रोक पाता।

जगतसिंहपुर, 19/11: जगतसिंहपुर पुलिस ने गुरुवार को एक पिकअप वाहन में ले जाये जा रहे 11 मवेशियों को जब्त कर लिया और वाहन के चालक और सहायक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. स्थानीय गांव देउलिग्रामेश्वर से लगातार गाय, बछड़े और बकरियों की तस्करी की शिकायतें मिल रही थीं। स्थानीय लोगों से सूचना मिलने के बाद जगतसिंहपुर पुलिस वाहन को पकड़ने के लिए अलर्ट पर थी। वे देउली ग्रामेश्वर से निकल कर मवेशी हांकते हुए जयपुर होते हुए किशोरनगर चले जाते। हालांकि, जब पुलिस ने गाड़ी को रोकने की कोशिश की तो ड्राइवर ने तेज रफ्तार से भागने की कोशिश की. पुलिस दारापाड़ा में वाहन को रोकने में सफल रही। ओहल गांव के मीर जुल्फिकार बेग और हेलपर डेउळिग्रामेश्बर गांव के सेक जफर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। हालांकि, एक मवेशी वाहन में 4 बड़ी गायें और 7 बछड़े बेहद दयनीय हालत में ले जाए जा रहे थे. पुलिस ने गाय-बछड़ों से भरी गाड़ी तो जब्त कर ली, लेकिन गो चालाणकारी एक अन्य कारोबारी तक पुलिस नहीं पहुंच सकी. दोपहर में कुल्फीकार और जफर को पुलिस ने पेश किया।

बेशिंगा: पुलिस ने अवैध मवेशी चालान की सूचना मिलने के बाद बेशिंगा थाना अंतर्गत कदलिआ-माचपाड़ा रोड पर बैल से लदी एक टाटा एसी वैन और 4 मोटरसाइकिलें जब्त कीं.
अवैध गोचालन की सूचना के आधार पर बैशिंगा थाना प्रभारी तपन कुमार प्रधान के नेतृत्व में एएसआई भाबग्राही महंत और अन्य अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों ने स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से कदलिआ और माछपडा सड़क को छापेमारी . पुलिस ने मौके से एक टाटा एसी नंबर OD-01AY-8078 समेत चार मोटरसाइकिल जब्त की है. टाटा एसी वैन में दो बड़े-बड़े बैलों को बेहद अमानवीय तरीके से पैर बांधकर थाने लाया गया।
अवैध गोचालन -पुलिस ने भद्रक जिला सैंथिया से 17 मवेशियों को बचाया
भद्रक: पिकअप वैन में मवेशियों को लादकर ले जाया जा रहा है, वहीं पुलिस ने इस कोशिश पर रोक लगा दी है. पुलिस ने भद्रक जिले के सैंथिया से 17 मवेशियों को बचाया. पुलिस को सूत्र से सूचना मिली कि वंत की ओर से एक पिकअप वैन मवेशियों को लेकर जा रही है. भद्रक जिले की पुरानी बज्जर पुलिस ने सैंथिया के पास पिकअप वैन को रोका. सड़क जांच के दौरान 17 मवेशियों को सड़क से बचाया गया. पुलिस ने इस मामले में 2 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है और गाड़ी जब्त कर ली गई है. बताया गया है कि बचाए गए मवेशियों को गौशाला में छोड़ दिया जाएगा। मवेशियों की हालत बेहद खराब है क्योंकि उन्हें बहुत ही दयनीय स्थिति में पिक वैन में ले जाया जा रहा है। पशुचिकित्सक को बुलाकर मवेशियों का इलाज कराया गया।

कड़ी कार्रवाई की आम मांग के बावजूद गोतस्करी में शामिल लोगों के धंधे पर कोई असर नहीं पड़ा है. बल्कि आरोप है कि यह कारोबार बालीचंद्रपुर इलाके से लेकर पश्चिम बंगाल तक फैला हुआ है. इस घटना में पुलिस ने एक अवैध मवेशी गाड़ी को जब्त कर लिया और इसमें शामिल दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. जानकारी के मुताबिक, बालीचंद्रपुर थाना अंतर्गत बडचना, चंडीखोल इलाके से एक बैलगाड़ी राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या 53 से होते हुए चारिं नंगल की ओर जा रही थी. मंगलवार को बजरंग दल के कार्यकर्ताओं ने गाड़ी रोकी और बालीचंद्रपुर पुलिस को सूचना दी. पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर जांच की तो मामला अवैध पशुचालान का पाया और तीन मवेशियों सहित वाहन को जब्त कर लिया। इसके अलावा, चारिनंगल गांव के सेक अलीम (19) और जेनापुर पुलिस स्टेशन क्षेत्र के मानस मलिक (20) को गिरफ्तार किया जाएगा और मुकदमा चलाया जाएगा, पुलिस स्टेशन के अधिकारियों ने बताया।

संबलपुर: पिछले हनुमान जयंती 2023 के दौरान संबलपुर में हुई हिंसा में शामिल पुलिस अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री को एक मांग पत्र जारी किया गया है. आज जागरूक नागरिकों की ओर से जिला कलेक्टर के माध्यम से मुख्यमंत्री को भेजे गए मांग पत्र में दावा किया गया है कि संबलपुर में हर माह 3 हजार से अधिक गायों की हत्या की जा रही है, जबकि 23 बूचड़खाने हैं. ये सभी बूचड़खाने और गौहत्या पूर्णतया बंद होनी चाहिए। पुलिस और परिवहन विभाग ने संबलपुर के रास्ते मवेशियों को पश्चिम बंगाल और बांग्लादेश ले जाने पर रोक लगाने की मांग की है। मुर्शिदाबाद से संबलपुर तक बिना अनुमति के नियमित बसें चल रही हैं। बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठियों की पहचान करने, सूची से हटाने और निर्वासित करने की मांग की गई है.
मवेशियों से लदा पिकअप ट्रक जब्त, 4 मवेशियों को बचाया गया
बारीपदा 17.12- आज सुबह 5 बजे बारीपदा के बाउरा स्ट्रीट के किनारे तेजी से पश्चिम बंगाल की ओर जा रही मवेशियों से भरी एक पिकअप गाड़ी वन विभाग की बोलेरो गाड़ी से टकरा गयी. पुलिस ने पिकअप वाहन में अवैध रूप से लादे गए चार मवेशियों और एक मृत मवेशी को बचाया है और बचाए गए मवेशियों को गो शाळा जिमा को दे दिया गया है। इस संबंध में बारीपदा सदर थाने में कांड संख्या 25324 दर्ज किया गया है और पिकअप वाहन (ओडी11 एआई-5705) और वन विभाग वाहन (ओडी11एच 0271) दोनों को जब्त कर लिया गया है और जांच जारी है. विशेष रूप से, मवेशियों को ले जाने वाले पिकअप वाहनों के खिलाफ ओडिशा गोहत्या निवारण अधिनियम की 7 धाराएं लगाई गई हैं। दोनों चालक मौके से भाग गए। सूत्रशी ने बताया कि यह दुर्घटना तब हुई जब पिकअप वाहन के चालक ने वन विभाग के वाहन को देखा और पकड़े जाने के डर से भागने की कोशिश की. यहां तक कि वानिकी वाहन एक बिजली की छड़ से टकरा गया, जबकि पिकअप ट्रक एक पेड़ से टकरा गया।

हिंन्दोल, 16 /12 : हिंंन्दोल थाना पुलिस ने कल और आज छापेमारी कर एक मवेशी गाड़ी जब्त की और दो माफियाओं को गिरफ्तार किया. मवेशी तस्करी के बारे में विशेष सूत्र से जानकारी मिलने के बाद पुलिस ने कल रात 11 बजे से आज सुबह के बीच छापेमारी की. पुलिस ने पीछा कर 8 मवेशी लदे पिकअप (OD-05AT-1944), कार (OD-02-WW-9862) और बाइक (OD-19-K-3171) को जब्त कर लिया. इसी दौरान बहलुंदा लोटस शेड के सामने दो मवेशी माफिया कटकरलाल बाग क्षेत्र के महसीन खां, बाहालुंडा के बसंत नायक को बहलुंदा को पकड़ लिया। हिंन्दल थाना प्रभारी चारुलता बेहरा के नेतृत्व में सात माइल फांडि का अधिकारी दिलीप साहू और पुलिसकर्मी छापेमारी में शामिल हुए. इस संबंध में हिन्दोळ थाना में मामला दर्ज कर गिरफ्तार मवेशी माफिया पर कार्रवाई की गयी है.
मवेशी ले जा रही पिकअप जब्त, 4 गिरफ्तार
भुबन, 16.12: सुरप्रतापपुर फांड़ी पुलिस ने रविवार की देर रात दो अवैध मवेशी पिकअप वाहन को जब्त कर लिया. सुरप्रतापपुर फंडी पदाधिकारी सौभाग्य पाणि ने विशेष सूत्रों से सूचना मिलने के बाद सुरप्रतापपुर फंडी के जमुनाकोट स्ट्रीट के पास मवेशियों से लदे दो पिकअप वैन को जब्त कर लिया. इसके साथ ही पुलिस ने दो ड्राइवर और दो व्यापारियों को भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया. गिरफ्तार किये गये दोनों चालक भुबन प्रखंड के दीघा पंचायत अंतर्गत गोल्डिया गांव के रमेश साहू और सुरप्रतापपुर फांड़ी अंतर्गत ओढ़ना गांव के सुधाकर साहू हैं. गिरफ्तार दोनों कारोबारी कामाक्षानगर थाने के गिराला गांव के गणेश बेहरा और सुरप्रतापपुर फांड़ी के गोबिंदपुर गांव के मनोज मल्लिक हैं। 4 आरोपियों को जमानत नहीं मिलने पर जेल भेज दिया गया है.
कुआखुआ : रसूलपुर क्षेत्र में अवैध गोवंश की तस्करी का धंधा जोरों पर है. पशु कल्याण अधिनियम का उल्लंघन कर हर सप्ताह मवेशियों की तस्करी राज्य से बाहर की जा रही है. रसूलपुर प्रखंड क्षेत्र की विभिन्न ग्रामीण सड़कें मवेशियों के आवागमन का मुख्य मार्ग बन गयी है. ब्लॉक की कई ग्रामीण सड़कें जैसे कलण-कुस्तिरा, यबारा-जेनापुर पुल, कुआखिया-जोकड़िया सड़क, कुआखिया-जाजपुर टाउन रोड, मधुबन-बारबती सड़क मुख्य व्यावसायिक सड़कें बन गई हैं। चूंकि ये सभी सड़कें राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 16 से जुड़ती हैं, इसलिए व्यापारी आसानी से आधी रात में बड़ी सड़कों से अवैध मवेशियों को ले जा रहे हैं। पशु संरक्षण अधिनियम के अनुसार नियम है कि सड़क पर मवेशियों को हांकने के लिए परिवहन विभाग विशेष अनुमति जारी करे.नियम है कि एक ट्रक में अधिकतम 4 मवेशी ले जाए जा सकते हैं और सामने सूचना बोर्ड भी होना अनिवार्य है. इस आदेश का खुलेआम उल्लंघन किया जा रहा है और मवेशियों को आलू की बोरियों की तरह इधर-उधर ले जाया जा रहा है। जबकि ऐसा कहा जाता है कि किसानों के लाभ के लिए विभिन्न स्थानों पर गो हाट आयोजित किए जाते हैं, यह व्यापारियों के लिए स्वर्ग बन गया है। राज्य और राज्य के बाहर के माफिया यहां आ रहे हैं। हर सप्ताह सैकड़ों मवेशियों को राज्य से बाहर किया जा रहा है. हाट बिना किसी सरकारी अनुमति के चल रही है। इसे रोके बिना ही माफिया अवैध रूप से हाट का संचालन कर रहे हैं। सरकार की ओर से कोई कदम नहीं उठाये जाने से असंतोष बढ़ रहा है. गो माफिया के खिलाफ तत्काल कार्रवाई करने की मांग की गई है.
11 मवेशियों को बचाया गया और 7 को गिरफ्तार किया गया
बारीपदा, 12/12 - एक टाटा पिकअप वाहन 11 मवेशियों को रस्सियों से बांधकर बेधड़क पड़ोसी राज्य पश्चिम बंगाल ले जा रहा था। बारीपदा टाउन थाना पुलिस ने कल देर रात मधुवन गैरेज स्ट्रीट के पास वाहन को जब्त कर लिया। थाने में कांड संख्या 774/24 दर्ज किया गया है.
जब बलियोड़ा से पिकअप वाहन में मवेशियों को लाया जा रहा था तो पुलिस ने पहले उन्हें पोडाअस्तिया के पास रोकने की कोशिश की. चालक वाहन लेकर तेज गति से पलाबनी की ओर भागने का प्रयास किया. लेकिन पुलिस ने पीछा कर स्थानीय मधुवन गैरेज स्ट्रीट के पास पिकअप वाहन (ओडी 11एफ-6774) को पकड़ने में कामयाबी हासिल की. जब्त किए गए मवेशियों को पश्चिम बंगाल ले जाया जाएगा और झाडग्राम जिले के न्याग्राम पुलिस स्टेशन के अंतर्गत बालीगड़िया गांव के सेक् जाकिर को सौंप दिया जाएगा। खुलासा हुआ कि वहां मवेशियों की हत्या कर गोमांस बेचा जाना था। इस घटना में ड्राइवर समेत सात लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर मुकदमा चलाया गया है. उक्त वाहन को जब्त कर लिया गया तथा 11 मवेशियों को मुक्त कराया गया.
तिहिदी, 12/12 : पिरहाट थाना क्षेत्र के पाढ़ीसाही मुस्लिम बस्ती से पुलिस ने मवेशियों से भरी एक पिकअप वैन को जब्त कर लिया और 20 गायों और दो बैलों को मुक्त कराया. पुलिस रात में मवेशियों को पकड़ने में सफल रही है. पुलिस के मुताबिक माफिया समेत बदमाश भी फरार चल रहे थे. मवेशियों को एक छोटे पिकअप ट्रक में अनाज की बोरियों की तरह लादा गया था। पुलिस वाहन को थाने ले आई और स्थानीय युवाओं की मदद से मवेशियों को नीचे उतारा। कुछ मवेशी असमंजस की स्थिति में थे। जिन्हें ठीक करने के लिए खाना-पानी देकर मैतापुर गोशाळा में छोड़ दिया गया, आईआईसी अजय मुर्मू ने जानकारी दी। थाने में मामला दर्ज कराया गया है.
शालबनी और टुकुना हाट अवैध गोवंश की तस्करी केंद्र बन गए हैं
केशदुरपाल, 12.12: आरोप है कि आनंदपुर से अवैध मवेशी पालन बढ़ रहा है. पशु कल्याण कानूनों का उल्लंघन कर हर सप्ताह मवेशियों की तस्करी राज्य से बाहर की जा रही है।गोवंश की तस्करी के मुख्य केंद्र आनंदपुर ब्लॉक के अंतर्गत शालबनी, फकीरपुर और टुकुना गोरु हाट बताए जाते हैं। पूरे सप्ताह मवेशियों की खरीद-फरोख्त चलती रहती है जबकि हर मंगलवार को यहां झोपड़ी लगाई जाती है। पशु संरक्षण अधिनियम के अनुसार नियम है कि परिवहन विभाग मवेशियों को हांकने के लिए वाहनों को विशेष परमिट जारी करे. वाहन के सामने सूचना बोर्ड लगाना भी अनिवार्य है क्योंकि एक ट्रक में अधिकतम चार मवेशी ले जाने का नियम है. इस आदेश का खुलेआम उल्लंघन किया जाता है और मवेशियों को आलू की बोरियों की तरह हांकते देखा जाता है. हालाँकि, विरोध के कारण, अब मवेशियों को आनंदपुर ब्लॉक के शालबनी गोरोहाट से गोकी पाल रोड के माध्यम से सातुकोशिया स्ट्रीट तक ले जाया गया है, और फिर मवेशियों को कंटेनरों में लाद दिया गया है। कहा तो यह जाता है कि पशु बाजार किसानों के हित के लिए चलाया जा रहा है, लेकिन यह व्यापारियों के लिए अड्डा बन गया है। हर सप्ताह सैकड़ों मवेशियों की तस्करी राज्य से बाहर की जा रही है, जबकि राज्य और राज्य के बाहर के माफिया मिले हुए हैं। 21 मार्च को आनंदपुर उपजिलापाल और एसपीओ झोपड़ी की जांच करने गए, लेकिन पता चला कि झोपड़ी बिना किसी आधिकारिक अनुमति के चल रही थी. इसे रोके बिना ही माफिया अवैध रूप से झोपड़ियों का संचालन कर रहे हैं। आनंदपुर विधायक, क्योंहार ने आनंदपुर उपजिलापाल को लिखित शिकायत की है। अब तक कोई कार्रवाई नहीं होने से असंतोष बढ़ रहा है। आनंदपुर बजरंग पार्टी ने गो माफिया पर अविलंब कार्रवाई की मांग की है.
तिगिरिया: हान मुने से बचाए गए 700 मवेशियों को प्रशासन द्वारा राज्य के विभिन्न गौशालाओं में पुनर्वासित किया जा रहा है. मंगलवार को बचाए गए 200 मवेशियों को अलग-अलग गौशालाओं में भेज दिया गया। ऐसा देखा जा रहा है कि इतनी बड़ी संख्या में बैलों को लादने में दिक्कत आ रही है. मंगलवार की रात तिगिरिया थाने के एसआई अनिल नायक के नेतृत्व में पुलिस बल की एक प्लाटून मवेशियों की रखवाली कर रही थी. बुधवार सुबह फिर से मवेशियों को बसाने का काम शुरू हुआ। इसी तरह, तिगिरिया पशु चिकित्सा अधिकारी ज्योत सुंदर राउत के नेतृत्व में एक टीम ने बीमार मवेशियों का इलाज किया। हालांकि, जिला सुरक्षा अधीक्षक प्रतिका सिंह की देखरेख में एक विशेष पुलिस टीम ने मंगलवार सुबह टिगिरिया पुलिस स्टेशन के तहत करदापल्ली के पास बरमान आरक्षित वन में छापेमारी की. पुलिस ने 700 से अधिक गाय, बैल, बैल और बछड़ों को बचाया, जो जंगल के विभिन्न हिस्सों में बहुत दयनीय स्थिति में फंसे हुए थे। इसमें शामिल अपराधियों के बारे में जानकारी मिल गयी है. पुलिस ने कहा कि उन्हें जल्द ही गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा और कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी.
गोवंश की तस्करी जुड़े मामले साल दर साल बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। 5 साल में 1783 मामले दर्ज हो चुके हैं. राज्य सरकार ने मवेशियों के संरक्षण के लिए एक अंतर-मंत्रालयी समिति का गठन किया है। समिति की अध्यक्षता कृषि, किसान सशक्तिकरण और ऊर्जा मंत्री करते हैं। मत्स्य एवं पशु संसाधन मंत्री गोकुलानंद मल्लिक ने विधानसभा में कन्हाई चरण डांग के एक प्रश्न के उत्तर में यह जानकारी दी. मंत्री श्री मल्लिक ने कहा कि अंतरमंत्रालयी समिति में 17 सदस्य हैं. राजस्व और आपदा प्रबंधन, ग्रामीण विकास और पंचायत राज, खाद्य, कानून, वन, मत्स्य पालन और पशुधन, सामाजिक सुरक्षा और सार्वजनिक शिक्षा विभागों की मंत्री सदस्यता है। इसी तरह, गृह और राजस्व के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव और पंचायत, कानून और वन्यजीव के प्रमुख सचिव हैं। कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए पुलिस महानिदेशक (डीजीपी), अतिरिक्त महानिदेशक (जांच), महानिरीक्षक (विशेष कार्य बल) को सदस्य के रूप में लिया गया है। इसी प्रकार, पशु चिकित्सा निदेशालय के निदेशक और ओमफेड के प्रबंध निदेशक भी समिति के सदस्य हैं। श्री मल्लिक द्वारा दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार, ओडिशा गोवंश निवारण अधिनियम-1960 के आधार पर गो-चालकों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जा रही है. 2019 में 139, 2020 में 267, 2021 में 371 और 2022 में 386 मामले सामने आए। लेकिन पिछले साल, जीओ-संचालित मामलों की संख्या बढ़कर 620 हो गई।
कळापथर : वैद्यश्वर थाना क्षेत्र के गांव में बैल चोरी कर बेचने वाले एक युवक को गिरफ्तार कर बांकी न्यायालय भेज दिया गया. वे ग्रामीण इलाकों से मवेशी लाकर और गोमांस बेचकर लाखों रुपये कमाते हैं। मौके पर पहुंचे थानेदार प्रियरंजन ने मवेशी को छुड़ाया और आरोपी को कोर्ट ले गये.
पशुपालक इस व्यवसाय को नए-नए तरीकों से कर रहे हैं. घटनास्थल से 4 मवेशी और 4 लोगों को बचाया गया
चरवाहे को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है. ये हैं कालापत्थर गांव के शरत चंद्र बेहरा, लेमेरी गांव के मानस बेहरा, खजूरीपाड़ा नुआसाही के बाजी उर्फ प्रमोद दास, बैद्येश्वर के नुआ लदाबर साहिर के लक्ष्मीधर बेहरा। चुराए गए बैल को उसकी गर्दन पर दो हल लगाकर टिगिरिया में गोमांस कसाईखाने में ले जाया गया और टी-सेतु के पास बैद्येश्वर के पुलिस स्टेशन अधिकारी प्रियरंजन सेठी ने उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया और अदालत ले गए।
तिगिरिआ, 10.12 |: 10 दिसंबर को कटक जिल्ता तिगिरिया इलाके से पुलिस को बड़ी सफलता मिली. 700 से अधिक गायों और बैलों को बचाया गया है। खबरों के मुताबिक, तिगिरिया पुलिस स्टेशन के अंतर्गत बरमाणबंध और करडपल्ली के पास संरक्षित जंगलों के बीच गौ-तस्करी और गोमांस की तस्करी के आरोप लगे हैं। गौ तस्करी और गोमांस तस्करी को लेकर पुलिस और पशु तस्करों के बीच झड़प के कई मामले सामने आए हैं। 10 तारीख को कटक जिला पुलिस ने अचानक मवेशी आड्डा पर छापा मारा और 700 से अधिक गायों, बैलों को बचाया। कटक जिला ग्रामीण एसपी प्रत्यक्षा सिंह, आष्टगढ़ डीएस रवीन्द्र कुमार मल्लिक की देखरेख में आयोजित इस छापेमारी में विभिन्न थाने के कर्मचारी और 2 प्लाटून पुलिस बल तैनात थे. हालांकि, एक सूत्र से जानकारी मिलने के बाद मवेशी व्यापारी अड्डा छोड़कर वापस लौट आये, इसलिए किसी की गिरफ्तारी नहीं हो सकी. जानकारी के मुताबिक, 10 तारीख को कटक जिला पुलिस ने कटक जिला के टिगिरिया ब्लॉक अंतर्गत करदापल्ली के पास संरक्षित जंगल और बरमान बांध के पास के जंगल में वर्षों से चल रहे गो-चालान ठिकाने पर छापेमारी की. नरसिंहपुर से शुरू होकर, ढेंकनाल और बांकी जैसे पड़ोसी क्षेत्रों के व्यापारी गायों को खरीदने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं और कुछ स्थानों पर गाय के मालिक वंचित युवाओं की मदद से देर रात गायों को बेचने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, गायों को पिंजरे से खोला जाता है और मार दिया जाता है जिसे यहां मांस में तब्दील कर खूब पैसे कमाए जाते थे. हाल ही में टिगिरिया पुलिस स्टेशन के अंतर्गत करदापल्ली और बदम्बा में कंटेनरों में गोमांस की जब्ती के बाद इस घटना को लेकर काफी हंगामा हुआ था. ऐसा लगता है कि जब्त की गई गायों को राज्य के विभिन्न गौशालाओं में स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया है, आने वाले दिनों में छापेमारी का दायरा बढ़ाया जाएगा और निर्दोष गायों की हत्या करने वाले बेईमान व्यापारियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी, ग्रामीण एसपी श्री सिंह ने मीडिया को बताया .
झारखंड – 3 गाडियों में ठूंसकर 110 गाय-बैल ले जा रहे थे क्रूर तस्कर, दम घुटने से 32 मवेशियों की मौत December 2, 2023 झारखंड से एक बार फिर गौ तस्करी की खबर आई है। इस बार गोवंश से भरे तीन वाहन बरामद हुए। इनमें गायों को इतना ठूँस कर भरा गया था कि कई गोवंशों की मौत हो गई। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, झारखंड के गिरिडीह में शुक्रवार (1 दिसंबर 2023) को निमियाघाट थाना क्षेत्र के तूरी टोला के नजदीक ये वाहन पकड़े गए। बताया जा रहा है कि इन वाहनों को बंगाल और बांग्लादेश भेजा जा रहा था। जब पुलिस ने इन वाहनों (2 कंटेनर और 1 पिकअप वैन) को रोककर जाँच करवाई तो देखा तो इनमें टोटल 110 गोवंश ठूँस-ठूँस कर भरे गए थे। तस्कर इन गाड़ियों को बिहार से शेरघाटी होकर बंगाल के कोलकाता ले जा रहे थे। पुलिस ने इस संबंध में 2 ड्राइवरों समेत 8 तस्करों को गिरफ्तार किया। जानकारी के मुताबिक , इन गौतस्करों की सूचना मिलने के बाद में एसपी ने डुमरी एसडीपीओ सुमित प्रसाद के नेतृत्व में एक टीम बनाई गई थी, जो कुलगो टोल प्लाजा के पास वाहनों की जाँच में जुटी थी। जब ये तीन वाहन आए और पुलिस को देखा तो कंटेनर और पिकअप वैन को त...
